The last decade has seen Grassroots transition from a regionally-focused commercial recruitment agency to a national resource partner. Since specialising in sales and technical markets, the pace of growth and future aspirations necessitated a re-brand – to both reposition the company internally and to convey the right messaging tailored to Grassroots’ specific market sectors.
The Instilled team closely with Grassroots to gain a full understanding of the business, it’s people, services, competitors and goals.
In a highly competitive market sector, it was important that the brand was instantly recognisable. To follow the businesses open and straightforward approach a black and white colour scheme was developed with subtle use of a bright green which is a reference to the previous GR branding. All photography is in black and white which really helps Grassroots stand out especially on social media streams.
The project included the design of a new logo and the development of that into a brand including a new WordPress website, marketing collateral, presentation templates, print and interior design.
The website is built on the secure and future- proof Genesis framework and uses the core and custom Gutenberg editing blocks, which have enabled us to create visually interesting and dynamic content throughout all the site pages. Functionality includes third-party integration of jobs listings through the WP Job Manager plugin as well as custom content areas for staff, testimonials, and case studies.
