Pure Innovations
Pure Innovations support people, with disabilities or health-related issues, to live a fulfilling life with a sense of purpose and belonging. We were asked to develop a new website that uses the most up-to-date methods of creating content and enabling website managers the ability to create and manage content without the need for custom code or assistance from developers.
All content was created with accessibility in mind and in line with WCAG standards.
It was important the website reflected the energy and positivity at the core of this wonderful organisation. The site is a window into dynamic nature of Pure Innovations and so it’s the people using the organisation and the people working within it that are highlighted throughout.
Some secondary graphics were developed to further hightlight the energy within Pure Innovations
The potential audience is very varied and the type of information they might be looking for is equally different, we therefore created a comprehensive mega menu to give visitors a snapshot of all the websites content.
The website build was mindful of Accessibility considerations due to the varied skillset of the site users. These included Aria Labelling for screenreaders, semantic html structure, strong colour contrasts and the option to view the website in an alternative colour combination.
The new website was created on a staging server, allowing Pure to keep their current site running, while the new website was being developed. This approach ensures that there is no time that the website was unavailable to users.
Additional content was then added to give the user a more logical and structured journey though the website with clear calls to action and forms for the various Pure Innovations sectors.
